Launched at the end of 2020, The Lost Explorer is a small-batch handcrafted mezcal cultivated on ancestral Miztec land in Valles Centrales, Oaxaca. Produced from 100% Tobalá agave, grown to full maturity and harvested at 10 years old. Also known as the "Explorer Agave", the elusive Tobalá is a wild agave that grows in arid, shaded, high-altitude canyons. It is much smaller than its more common kin and extremely rare to find. Each batch is handcrafted by internationally recognised Maestro Mezcalero Don Fortino Ramos. Bottled at 42%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Dry tobacco, wood and cocoa.

Palate: Vanilla, with notes of leather and clay.

Finish: Smooth and earthy finish, with hints of citrus and fresh grass.
