DESCRIPTION

A bundle offer from the Loch Lomond distillery in the Highlands, pairing one bottle of the Unpeated Grainstorm with one bottle of the Peated Grainstorm, both relaunched and renamed in late-2024. This unconventional pair of single grains is produced from 100% malted barley — heavily peated for the Peated Grainstorm — distilled through a continuous Coffey still and matured exclusively in American oak ex-bourbon casks. Loch Lomond is one of the few Scotch distilleries capable of producing this style, as single grain whisky is typically made from wheat or maize, and most malt distilleries do not operate Coffey stills.
