A single cask release selected by and bottled exclusively for WhiskyBrother&Co.
Milk & Honey made a grand entrance onto the world whisky stage last year. Based on the positive feedback we received from our customers, we reached out to M&H to do an exclusive single cask. Distilled 9 August 2017, matured in a red-wine cask that was shaved, toasted and re-charred (STR), and bottled 26 October 2020. Only 252 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 59.5%*. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Wildflower honey, fragrant sage, chocolate with sea salt and a dash of mocca.
Palate: Rich vanilla with hints of ground cloves and dark raisins, warm oak in the background.
Finish: Hot cocoa sprinkled with dry chilli flakes, baked pears and lemon zest.
* Although still a high ABV, this single cask is not actually cask strength as we opted to reduce the alcohol down from ±65% to 59.5% to take the edge off.
