An exclusive single cask, cask strength release from the Edradour distillery in the Highlands, bottled by Signatory independent bottler. Distilled on 25 February 2011, matured for 10 years in a first-fill Barolo hogshead (250L cask) and bottled on 3 September 2021. Only 278 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 59.5%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Barolo, known as “the king of wines”, is a complex and powerful Italian red wine. It's produced in an area called Barolo in north-west Italy. The wine is made from the Nebbiolo grape, which is famous for its flavours of dried rose and liquorice.
