DESCRIPTION

A single cask release from the Ardmore distillery in the Highlands, bottled by Hunter Laing in their Old Malt Cask (OMC) series. Distilled in July 2010 and matured for 12 years in a refill barrel before bottling. Only 274 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a higher strength of 50%.

OFFICIAL TASTING NOTES

Nose: Caramel, honey, peat smoke-infused lime segments.

Palate: Very smoky with a lovely oiliness, alongside ripe apple and lime. 

Finish: Long with smoke and fruit in balance.
