A core range, permanent release from the Glengoyne distillery in the Highlands. Matured predominantly in first-fill ex-bourbon hogsheads along with a portion of sherry casks. Naturally coloured and bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Coconut oil, honey, lemon zest and dried oak.
Palate: Toffee apples, cinnamon spice, ginger, orange and shortbread.
Finish: A hint of sherry and soft oak. Well balanced.

"On the nose, the whisky is beautifully aromatic, with me personally getting honey and lemon zest. The palate is soft, with flavours of toffee and vanilla, complemented by a sherry sweetness. Elegantly packaged with a branded Glencairn glass, which is ideal for the seasoned whisky drinker or beginner. Hats off to Glengoyne for getting this Spot-On"

"This light yet also delightfully rich malt has a lot to offer for the enthusiast while still being composed enough to introduce to a novice. The slow distillation and maturation in traditional dunnage warehouses really show. It's interesting how this whisky is distilled in the Highlands and matured in the Lowlands. Which style is it then? Hmmm, best to have another sip..."
