Adelphi Selection is an independent bottler founded in 1993 by Jamie Walker, a great-grandson of the family that owned the original Adelphi Distillery, which operated in Glasgow from 1826 until its closure in 1902. Revived in the spirit of that historic name, Adelphi was established with a single-minded focus on selecting and bottling only the finest and most characterful casks available.
The company bottles its own range of single malts each year under the Adelphi Selection label — all non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured, and bottled at cask strength. Their portfolio also includes the recurring Laudale (small batches), Fusion (world blended malts), and Breath of (undisclosed distilleries) ranges, which occasionally feature non-Scotch whiskies from select international producers.
Since 2014, Adelphi has also operated the Ardnamurchan Distillery in Glenbeg on Scotland’s remote western coast, producing its own single malt in addition to its independent bottlings.
